For one night only, on Tuesday November 25, theatre will be reaching for the sky when the Royal Shakespeare Company presents a unique event here at The View from The Shard. In celebration of ‘Henry IV Part 1 and 2’ transferring to the Barbican this winter, the RSC have created a one-off evening of Shakespeare speeches accompanied by spectacular views of the city that inspired many plays including the much anticipated ‘Henry’s.
Join your host, Shakespeare's Character of Time, as he spins tales of love, loss, betrayal, hope and all the Seven Ages of Man as your eyes float across the capital's beautiful citscape from London's tallest building.
Tickets are just £45 and include the perfect start to the evening, a welcome glass of Champagne Lanson.
The event is being held in association with Time Out. There are only 150 tickets available so for your chance to attend this incredible one-off event, enter the Time Out ballot.

Late night silent disco
After sell-out success for the first series, Silent Discos return to The View from The Shard.
Grab a drink from the bar, pop on a set of headphones and dance the night away with sweeping London panoramas at your feet.
Three DJs will set up their decks in the viewing gallery on Level 69 to entertain guests with a varied musical mix including pop, RnB, dance, hip hop, and dub step.

Halloween: An Evening of Fear and Wonder
Friday 31 October 10pm-2am
The wide eyed and wondrous are invited to a Halloween celebration like never before at The View from The Shard. London’s highest Halloween party promises an evening of ‘Fear and Wonder’ in partnership with BFI, supported by the iconic Crystal Head Vodka, with DJs and a live performance from Wicked.
As part of their major three month season Sci-Fi: Days of Fear and Wonder, presented together with O2, the BFI will be creating an eerie Halloween atmosphere with projections of iconic scenes from classic films.
To welcome in the witching hour there will be a live performance from the lead of hit musical Wicked. The wicked-witch-of-the-west Elphaba will sing a spine-tingling rendition whilst literally ‘Defying Gravity’ 800 feet above the city.
Tickets £39.00 includes a complimentary cocktail from Crystal Head Vodka and treats (no tricks) from Krispy Kreme.
