A Giant Game of Twister for London’s Singles
London’s most adventurous singletons can ascend 800ft for a dating night with a difference, involving a giant game of Twister at The View from The Shard.
Activity based dating site DoingSomething has long promoted that the best way of getting to know someone new is doing a shared activity. Daters will negotiate the brightly coloured discs covering the open-air Level 72 viewing gallery and the game will be compared by Tristram Shanckley, the popular Inflatable Church host which has become a favourite at festivals such as Bestival.

The View from The Shard’s open-air viewing gallery on level 72 has gone green with AstroTurf for the summer to create the highest lawn in London! The perfect place to enjoy the summer sunshine while seeing all of London, all at once.
Yoga mornings
Yogasphere and The View from The Shard are proud to bring our clients sky high yoga classes! Join Leo and Mandy exclusively at our weekly classes in The View. Its a great way to kick start your weekend or trip to London! We recommend you bring your smartphone, prepared to take some stunning pictures.
You will get additional time to view before class and after, the class itself is from 8.30-9.30am. Our clients may also ascend to the highest accessible point of The Shard, Level 72, an open-air viewing platform exposed to the elements and sounds of the city below, offering the chance to gaze up to the shards of glass that form the top of the sculptural building as they disappear into the sky. On hotter days, we run the classes/meditation in the open air area if its not too windy!

Late night silent disco
After sell-out success for the first series, Silent Discos return to The View from The Shard.
Grab a drink from the bar, pop on a set of headphones and dance the night away with sweeping London panoramas at your feet.
Three DJs will set up their decks in the viewing gallery on Level 69 to entertain guests with a varied musical mix including pop, RnB, dance, hip hop, and dub step.

The View from The Shard in partnership with Fortnum & Mason will host a picnic on London’s Highest Lawn, Sunday 10th August. Reserve your Fortnum & Mason picnic blanket and Hamperling to see all of London, all at once from the open air viewing platform, level 72, now green with Astroturf for the summer. You can book for a 2pm or 5pm picnic and choose from two Hampers:

Blankets will be reserved and on the day guests will be directed to their picnic spot on level 72 by a member of The View from the Shard team.
