Unsure where to go in London to watch the fireworks on Guy Fawkes Weekend?* We have it all sorted for you!
The View from The Shard invites you to join us on the 4th and 5th November to see if you can spot some of the sky light up from the various firework displays around London. What more could you want, amazing views of fireworks, in a beautiful warm building with a cocktail in hand?
Say goodbye to giant winter coats and cold rosy cheeks and say hello to Bonfire Night at The View from The Shard.
The Timetable:
Be sure to book your arrival slot earlier than the start of the fireworks so you have time to get to the top, purchase a glass of champagne and find the best spot to watch the sky light up!
Wimbledon Park Fireworks
Located in the southwest London, fireworks will begin on 4th November around 5:15pm. This is the perfect time to bring your children to The Shard. With the early time slot you’ll be able to get home safely and tucked up in bed before London’s nightlife begins. Sorry kids, this won’t be an excuse to miss bedtime!
Morden Park Fireworks
Another one for the kids – with a musical themed firework display at 6:45pm on the 5th of November, you will get serious brownie points for this one!
Alexandra Palace Fireworks
Also known as Ally Pally’s Firework Festival and one of the best firework displays in North London – this is one you really don’t want to miss. The park gates open at 4pm and the fireworks are due to start shortly after. Be sure to get to the Shard early to get the best spot, you could even go for a bite to eat in the amazing Borough Market after the display.
Battersea Park Fireworks
Look to the south and you will spot these fireworks on both 5th and 6th November. Saturday is a celebration of Bonfire Night with gates opening at 6pm! Don’t forget about Sunday Funday, enjoy a family trip to The View from The Shard to watch the family themed fireworks with gates opening at 5pm.
Barnes Sports Club Fireworks
Last but not least, in south-west London we have Barnes Sports Club Fireworks. The park opens on 5th November and it is likely the fireworks will start around 7:45pm. This colourful display will be the highlight of your night!
